Visual Communications Global Alliance

As technology continues to "shrink" the globe, the demand for global support expands at a rapid rate. To meet this need, York Telecom has initiated the development of the Visual Communications Global Alliance. This organization is comprised of like-minded solution providers located throughout the globe.

Alliance members partner on global opportunities providing seamless service for international organizations throughout their geographically dispersed locations. Members have synergistic business models and fulfill technical and business criteria in order to participate. All members recognize that excelling in this industry is about understanding the customer’s strategic business needs, building the right solution utilizing advanced engineering excellence and then providing training and ongoing support for the installed solution.

All the alliance partners recognize that having a worldwide presence will improve on the business model they already employ and that their respective end-user and manufacturer organizations are looking for a resource to fulfill this key business need.

All members are experts in visual communications consulting, installation, integration and support services. All partners have ongoing relationships with the key manufacturers in the industry as well as service providers and local telecom companies. All partners have strong national presence within their regions and cover a wide range of languages and dialects.

Videoconferencing Worldwide Ltd, headquartered in Birmingham UK, is owned and managed by four executive directors each with a high level of experience in the visual communications industry. The company works extensively within the British government and prominent UK corporations. Videoconferencing Worldwide employs a business model independent of all hardware suppliers providing expert visual communication solutions to satisfy user requirements. The company supplies end-to-end solutions including services and hardware with 24-hour, 7-day technical support and training. Videoconferencing Worldwide’s solutions are flexible, user friendly, and economic.

Founded in 1982, Recos AG is a professional provider of telecommunications solutions. Since 1982 it has been the exclusive business partner of TOPCALL International AG, a leading manufacturer of communication systems, for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Through a continuing, customer oriented business strategy, Recos AG has become a market leader in the field of unified messaging and communication. In 1998, Recos AG added the VTEL videoconferencing product line to its suite of products further developing its business as a comprehensive communications provider. In 2000, Recos AG established collaborations with other services companies to provide services and installations for multiple products and brands in Switzerland and adjoining European countries.

Founded in 1999, Nete2 is headquartered in Singapore. Nete2 are dedicated to achieving pre-eminence in visual communications, distance learning, services and internet solutions for their clients in key Asian markets. Their strength is delivering integrated solutions providing the expertise necessary for the design and building of infrastructure to support visual communications as well as a full suite of services including video, audio and data-conferencing. With over 100 years of joint experience, the board members are in a unique position to lead and take the company to great heights. Nete2 maintains strong relationships with a diverse group of manufacturers and is developing a quality streaming solution to help bring this technology to the corporate world.

AV Central consists of seven premium visual communication providers supporting the Australian continent. These companies formed an alliance to provide a higher level of expertise and service to the market. Members are based out of Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. AV Central provides clients with a high level of professionalism, expertise and after sales service. The AV Central network members all have a professional service center with qualified service technicians providing the highest level of technical support and customer service.

Future members will include South African, Indian and South American partners as well as additional presence in Europe.
